WINNNNGS

So when something suddenly sprouts out of your body it’s usually bad right? Like those YouTube videos where somebody breaks their arm so bad bones come out? Well UNLIKE that, I grew winnnngs today. Yes, I can fly now. And by fly I mean the time it takes me to hit the ground after jumping off my bed. (I was in the air, it counts as flying.)

The popular energy drink Red Bull has been around for FOREVER and I decided that this week was the time to give it a review. Now I’ve had the normal one before and I liked it, so I wanted to try something that was still Red Bull but different. Luckily, Red Bull has been coming out with new flavored versions of their drink and I snagged the “blue edition”. I didn’t have a preference with all the flavors I seen, but my favorite color is blue so that’s what I went with.

Red Bull has a couple different sizes when it comes to their cans and I chose the bigger of the two. However, even the bigger can is smaller than all the other energy drink cans I have reviewed. I thought maybe it would be stronger or have a higher concentration of caffeine or something but it didn’t seem like it. I felt like i would need to drink maybe another half can to feel the “energy”.(Side note, look at the cute bull they put on the can opener. I wonder where his wings are????????)

So down to the actual review, this stuff I tried was a solid drink. It gave the same kind of energy the same way a monster does, just not as much. And like everything else I’ve reviewed, I had no crash after. The blueberry flavor I got is where I would take some points away from this drink. It was delicious, but it was delicious the way a fruity margarita is. For me, when I first sip a fruity drink like a margarita, it tastes really good. But as I start to actually drink more of it, the flavor gets to be a little too much. Another thing I could compare it to would be a chocolate dessert at a fancy restaurant. I love chocolate, but those desserts are too rich to where I can only take one or two bites before its too overpowering. Don’t get me wrong, I really liked the flavor, it was just toward the end of finishing the can where the blueberry started to be a little much.

Overall, I would give this drink a 8/10. It would have definitely gotten a 10 if it wasn’t for the smaller can and the flavor being too much.
